The Holiday Inn Express located in Seguin, TX was looking for a signature product to illuminate the parking area of their new premium location. They were looking for a product that would compliment the architecture of the environment, while providing a safe and inviting level of comfort and uniformity when illuminated during the evening hours. The standard OPTRA product was the perfect choice for their new location, that is until the OPTRA EONS was presented.
Not only could the OPTRA provide a unique and distinctive architectural element while providing superior photometric performance, the new OPTRA EONS solution also provided the Holiday Inn Express with a unique cost saving reduced maintenance solution by doubling the required time between scheduled fixture relamping. This value added option will reduce maintenance costs that equates directly to bottom line financial performance.
The OPTRA EONS doubles the lamp life over traditional site lighting products by using (2) traditional Pulse Start Metal Halide lamps, for a total rated life of 40,000 hours. In turn reducing maintenance costs by half over the life of the product with half the labor, half the equipment rental fees, and double the time the maintenance crew can spend servicing other on-site needs.
The OPTRA EONS first scheduled group relamp will not be until 8 years, 3 months after original installation or 7.29.2016 (based on 10 hours per day, 7 days a week usage).
